Enjoy a gentle stroll along the foreshore and around the point. Pelican Point is the second largest sector of the Swan Estuary Marine Park. The marine park is for the protection of migratory bird feeding habitat. The marine park is south of the point's axis and on the northern side includes the Royal Perth Yacht Club, Mounts Bay Sailing Club and a public boat ramp.
JH Abrahams Reserve, a popular picnicking and recreation area. The park offers extensive grassy and shaded areas, with play equipment, picnic tables, showers, toilets and a mobile snack facility close by.
Due to it's close proximity to the estuary and the waters edge consultation with the Swan River Trust was crucial to achieve compliance of 0 lux on the water and meet Dark Sky standards.
Rendering up the foreshore for the City of Perth allowed us to comfortably meet the briefs aesthetics with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
The City of Perth utilised ERCO's individual service customising the fittings to "Tele Grey" revitalising and refreshing the parkscape.
